Pre-entry Requirements

An applicant for a first type/class rating for a single-pilot high performance aeroplane (HPA) shall have the following:

1. 200 hours total flying experience
2. 70 hours Pilot in Command
3. Hold a PPL

Training Syllabus

1. 7 Weeks home study
2. 2 Days full time consolidation course
3. Pass the HPA written examination.

During the course the student will receive worksheets and an assessment before attending the consolidation course during which the final examination will be taken ‘in house’.

This course is suitable for those who wish to seek a licence endorsement for the following Aircraft which are classified as ‘High Performance Aeroplanes’.
