Pre-entry Requirements

1. Meet the requirements detailed in JAR-FCL 1.435 and Standards Document 21
2. Hold a letter of assessment from FCL Standards Department
3. Have 1000 hours as Pilot of aeroplanes
4. Have 250 hours as an FI (A)

Training Syllabus

The syllabus to be followed is based on JAR-FCL requirements.

• Ground School - Minimum of 13 hours charged: to encompass knowledge of JAR-FCL, Documentation and Reporting
• Flight Exercises - Minimum of 2.5 hours flight training: to encompass the skills test (PPL) and proficiency checks
• Pass the observed PPL skills test with an FIE

Full time approximately 2 working days - weather dependent
