Pre-entry Requirements

Hold a PPL (A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1. However, it is strongly suggested that a Class 1 Medical is also held.

Training Syllabus

The training will include 650 hours of Instruction, split into two halves:

  •  Principles of Flight
  •  Instruments
  •  Airframes, Engines & Aircraft Systems
  •  Air Law
  •  Radio Navigation
  •  VFR Comms
  •  IFR Comms
  •  Mass & Balance
  •  Performance
  •  Operational Procedures
  •  Flight Planning & Monitoring
  •  General Navigation
  •  Meteorology
  •  Human Performance & Limitations

All Manuals and relevant materials are included in the cost.

Ground Test Requirements

To pass all 14 subjects listed above, normally taken in 2 sittings, within a period of 18 months from the first sitting.

Course Duration

26 weeks in total excluding examinations.
